I'm 14 and am interested in starting tap. I've never done it before and I'm not to great a dancer but will it be to dificult? And is 14 to old to start dancing? It just looks like so much fun.

i don't think that 14's too old at all. It's easier when you're younger, however i teach adult classes and they get it pretty well. If you're good at other dance, especially dance like jazz or modern which are less structured than ballet, you should pick up tap easily. You just need to remeber that having fast feet is the key to everything.
Tap really is so much fun because it's music and dance and rhythm all in one and it's amazing. plus, your past dance experience will often be incorporated in dance.
go for it!!! the only regret you can have is not doing it. if you're not so great, oh well, at least you tried, right?

No way! Go for it. I started tap up again (I had taken it for a year when I was about... 6?) when I was in seventh grade, which was 13. I think it was easier then because I could remember more things than when I was little and not really paying attention in class. Plus, when you're older, I would think a person's coordination is better.
